Septimus Sigillum
Septimus Sigillum was inspired by the imagery and symbolism surrounding the seventh seal described in the Book of Revelation. Not as a prediction, nor as an attempt to glorify catastrophe, but as a reflection on silence, inevitability, and the fragile nature of humanity when confronted with forces greater than itself. What has always fascinated me about apocalyptic symbolism is not only the destruction, but the atmosphere that comes before it. The stillness. The tension. The feeling that something irreversible is approaching while the world remains unaware. In many ways, the idea of the final seal feels less like chaos and more like revelation. The moment hidden truths can no longer remain hidden. The biblical imagery surrounding Revelation carries a strange duality. Fear and awe. Judgment and reflection. Collapse and transformation. It forces us to confront the limits of human pride, power, and certainty. As Revelation 8:1 describes, “When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.” That silence has always felt more terrifying to me than noise itself. I wanted to explore that atmosphere in a personal and cinematic way through this piece. I truly hope you enjoy it and connect with it in your own interpretation. 🎵 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/2a3KuxcjjW1VmJhp7KDVJ4?si=Sf-YxpL0SpSHJRd3_VKPPQ
