Uwah, 13 is a pretty unlucky number, isn't it? I swear this was totally unintentional. Anyways, this boss isn't really that bad even with its gimmick. The boss has a buff affects their defense and offense; as the turns go by, their defense decreases but their offense increases to balance it out. Even then, their pattern doesn't really necessitate any extreme preparations. There's a mix of physical, magical, and sure-hit attacks, but I guess the tricky part of this boss is that there are quite a few turns where the boss can choose between three moves to execute. Thus, it's a little bit random to predict what move they'll use. However, keeping the strong, fundamental core of Dita, Yubeil, Faria, and Kuu can get the job done as long as each member plays their role. Dita will bind, support, and heal. Yubeil will evade and incite. Faria keeps up the offense with magical attacks and Spellgash. Finally, Kuu will obtain perfect evasion and deal high damage with his light-enchanted magical attack based on AG, nothing new about these objectives. I'll drop a pattern below, but I don't really think it will be that helpful given how random each turn is. Pattern: Sin 1 (Increases Boss Damage buff) 1. Blackspear Rain (Dark Physical AoE inflicting DEF and MDF down) - Shadow Body 2. Black Surge (Certain hit or magic Dark single target) 3. Unseen Punch (Physical single target?), Debuff skill (Sleep, Dark Wkn, Forgetful, and LUCK+ Down) Sin 2 (Increases Boss Damage buff) 4. Blackspear Rain (Dark AoE inflicting DEF and MDF down) 5. Death Spell (Attack?) - Bind 6. Dark Spell (Dark AoE?) Sin 3 (Increases Boss Damage buff) 7. Blackspear Rain (Dark Physical AoE inflicting DEF and MDF down) 8. Black Surge (Certain hit or magic Dark single target), Grand Destruction - Incite 9. Unseen Punch (Physical single target?), Debuff skill (Sleep, Dark Wkn, Forgetful, and LUCK+ Down) Sin 4 (Increases Boss Damage buff) 10. Blackspear Rain (Dark Physical AoE inflicting DEF and MDF down) - Won't kill Faria 11. Unseen Punch (Physical single target?), Debuff skill (Sleep, Dark Wkn, Forgetful, and LUCK+ Down), Grand Destruction - Stun 12. Dark Spell (Dark AoE?) - Stun Sin 5 (Increases Boss Damage bzuff) 13. Blackspear Rain 14. Grand Destruction (Single-target Hit Twice, Physical), Black Surge 15. Debuff skill (Sleep, Dark Wkn, Forgetful, and LUCK+ Down) 16. Blackspear Rain (Dark Physical AoE inflicting DEF and MDF down) - Culling Eye 17. Death Spell - Bind Ill Omen 18. Dark Spell 19. Grand Destruction, Blackspear Rain 20. Black Surge That wraps up Kludge then. I've got to say, the game's grown on me after understanding how each party member really works after the translation (thanks sub-par!). There's a lot more prep and theorycrafting needed to really get the boosts out of your party members compared to the other games since the multipliers are designed to be stacked in small increments at a time. It's not a bad way to challenge the player. Anyways, if there's nothing else to fight in the game, well... see you next game? P.S. Missed showing the weapon, but it increases your attack to about the level of the Mashinarc+1 weapons and also adds the debuff to the boss from your attacks. The debuff increases the damage the boss takes by 5%.
