We have shown a handful of possibilities on how the Voltage Multistage and Sequence Selector work together. Perhaps a not so obvious (but highly musical use) is having the Sequence Selector transpose a sequence.
To demonstrate this, c.v. from “c.v. row a” of the Voltage Multistage was sent into the “transpose in” of the Sequence Selector. Then the “c.v. out” was patched into the pitch c.v. input of the Complex Oscillator. In effect, allowing for the 5 steps of the Sequence Selector to scale the sequence up or down. Stepping the sequence allowing via one of the Voltage Multistage gate outputs allows for transposition that is in time.
