Combat in Shadowrun 4e is all about the situation at hand, and manipulating it. The surroundings, and who is near who, is incredibly important. Though, this also means there's a great deal of modifiers you need to keep track of aswell, which is to say nothing of the amount of rolls one comabt action can come down to.
