Submodeling is a feature of the Abaqus software which enable us to run a global model without details and high computational cost. Even it is possible that while global model is a shell the submodel be a solid. After running the global model as a shell, in the previous video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aep2c5JNz48), in this video the solid submodel is explained. In this video you can find out: What is shell to solid submodeling? How can we draw complicated parts by revolution feature? How to define exterior tolerance? How to define center zone? What is suitable mesh for center zone? How to solve the error “There are no nodes laying in the center zone”?
