This exercise is meant to create dynamic stabilization of the hip and shoulder which means there's muscle co-activation with movement. You'll start on your side with your bottom hip at 45 degrees, pressure on your forearm, shoulder slightly relaxed back, and spine straight. You'll drive your knee into the ground and raise your hips off the ground as high as you can. From this position you'll rotate your trunk over and back from that stable position. You should do about 6-8 of these on each side.
