In this video we will cover the exterior papering of the box. I will demonstrate two different methods of gluing, how to get a smooth and even application of the Yes paste, discuss the choice and use of paper for the project, and how to cut down large sheets of paper for application and gluing. I will demonstrate dry fitting, gluing, and covering all the exterior surfaces of the box with the Yes paste and Ingres paper, walking you through the full process of preparing your box exterior. Once this is done the box is ready to be lined. Please note: the finishing process was filmed in real time and so later changes are not reflected in the early videos. In this video I mention using cream Ingres paper to back the embroidery, which I did, but ultimately decided I would have preferred the white, used here to cover the box. My final recommendation is for four sheets of white Ingres paper.
