Simple Harmony tutorial #7: Layout of back and sides
This tutorial provides you with an overview of the layout of motifs from MFE's Forget Me Not pattern and order of work to form the back and sides of the Simple Harmony box. More detailed information with the motif key, close ups, and counts can be found in the links below. I reference the blocking process to remove distortion and prepare your embroidery for gluing, this will be covered in tutorial #8. My written guide to the side layout with order of work is here: https://katie-strachan.com/simple-harmony-layouts/long-side-layout Side layout images with guideline counts are here: https://katie-strachan.com/side-layouts My written guide to the back layout is here: https://katie-strachan.com/simple-harmony-layouts/back-layout Back layout images with guideline counts are here: https://katie-strachan.com/back-layout Please note all gallery images can be enlarged by clicking on them, and that all counts are rows rather than threads. So 9 means 18 threads, depending on whether you prefer to count by rows or number of threads.
