October 1st, 2019 Medicare Part A reimbursement for Skilled Nursing facilities will change with the introduction of the Patient Driven Payment Model. The current RUGs IV Medicare system will be replaced with the PDPM. Jen Roberts, RN, RAC-CT, has been working in Skilled Nursing Facilities since 1996. Jen began working as a Certified Nurses Assistant and has since served in roles such as Director of Nursing and Senior RAI Specialist.
