The Singer 128K was an upgrade to Singer’s popular 28K, its design originating from the pioneering machines of mid ninetenth century. It is a 3/4 sized sewing machine scaled down from Singer's 127K.
It has a cast iron body and all steel shafts, cams, arms and rods – all the important bits are made out of steel or alloy – no plastic at all.
The machine can do adjustable straight stitch, and will sew a range of materials from the very lightest of fabrics to canvas and heavy leather.
