SMART DOOR PROTOTYPE USING ARDUINO
The Smart Door Prototype uses Arduino, a servo motor, and a PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor to create an automated door system. The project demonstrates a basic smart door concept, where the door opens and closes automatically when someone approaches. Full Tutorial Video of Simulation Prototype:https://youtu.be/tR-WZKswrtQ?si=2Yr_3XiB9rmk4Std Components- Arduino Board: The brain of the project, responsible for controlling the servo motor and reading data from the PIR sensor. - Servo Motor: Acts as the door's actuator, rotating to open or close the door. - PIR Sensor: Detects motion and sends a signal to the Arduino board to trigger the door's opening or closing. - Cardboard: Used as a makeshift door, providing a simple and lightweight structure for demonstration purposes. How it Works1. Motion Detection: The PIR sensor detects motion and sends a signal to the Arduino board. 2. Door Opening: The Arduino board receives the signal and sends a command to the servo motor to rotate, opening the door. 3. Door Closing: After a set period, the Arduino board sends a command to the servo motor to rotate back, closing the door.
