Originally the first beat played out for the whole of this intro, and I almost cut it completely cause something just wasn't right to me. Then when I was much further into the album I heard the sample for the 2nd part of this intro, and instantly heard these vocals over it. That saved this intro, cause I really like the way it starts, and then that 2nd part is great for building the atmosphere and really feels like it's leading up to something, which I didn't have when it was just one beat for the whole intro, even with all the switch ups and layering. Had a lot of fun editing the visuals for this one too, I really liked the idea of the cartoons playing out across the background to represent the vocals DOOM cuts in at the start, and then adding to the atmosphere of the build up at the end, showing the backstory of DOOM in a more subtle way. I had to include the ending - can't wait to play the whole album out. Until tomorrow - Peace!!!
