Extruded Boss/Base with Draft This is the standard Extrude command, but with the Draft feature enabled. Instead of pushing the material straight out at 90 degrees, it adds an angle to the side walls as it extrudes. How it works: You specify a draft angle (e.g., 3°). The part will either taper inward (getting smaller at the top) or taper outward (getting larger at the top). Function: Absolutely essential for designing parts that will be manufactured via injection molding or casting. The angled walls (draft) allow the part to slide out of the metal mold easily without getting stuck. 2. Extruded Cut This command removes material. It works exactly like the Extruded Boss, but instead of creating a solid volume, it cuts through the existing material. Function: Creates holes, pockets, or custom slots in a solid part. Example: Drawing a circle on a flat face and cutting it to create a through-hole. Example: Smoothing the sharp corners of a machined bracket so it is safe to handle during assembly.
