Space Beam is a fixed-shooter arcade game released in 1979 by Irem. It was one of the early titles to emerge during the golden age of arcade video games, operating on Irem's M10 hardware.
Players control a spaceship at the bottom of the screen, firing lasers at approaching alien creatures and enemy vessels. It shares similarities with other shooters of the era, such as Andromeda.
Primarily developed and published by Irem Corporation. A version was also produced by Nanao in 1980.
