Spark AR - Background (Masterclass Chapter 3)
Adding a background is a common feature for a filter. You can also use this technique to add 3D objects behind a user. And make sure the materials are set to flat if you want them to render at full brightness. Otherwise, the lights in the scene will affect them. Segmentation This is the same idea as a green screen. The segmentation itself doesn't hold any color information, however. It's just a black and white texture that you can use as an alpha channel for a material.
