Spooky Bison Meatloaf Ghosts
Halloween Food! What are you cooking this Halloween weekend? We're cooking up some scrumptious and scary Bison Meatloaf Ghosts! Super easy to make, they're frightening to behold and oh so tasty! A delicious meatloaf recipe becomes hauntingly fun thanks to melty provolone cheese "sheets" and BBQ/Ketchup/Sriracha "blood sauce." This recipe makes 12 ghosts - but if you're having a Halloween party, we suggest doubling up - at least! These crave-able, cheesy ghosts are sure to disappear before your eyes! Printable Recipe Page: https://bit.ly/BisonMeatloafGhosts Ingredients For the Bison Meatloaf Ghosts 2 Pounds Ground Bison 2 Eggs 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard 1 tsp Smoked Paprika 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper 2 Cloves Garlic, minced 3-4 Green Onions, sliced 1 cup Bread Crumbs Salt and Pepper +12 Provolone Cheese Slices for the ghostly "sheets" For the Blood Sauce 1 cup BBQ sauce (we like mesquite!) 1 cup Ketchup 1 Tbsp Sriracha Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. Mix all meatloaf ingredients with a large fork until just combined. 3. Shape your ghosts: Divide mixture into 12 equal(ish) portions and form into pear-like shapes with flat bottoms. Place on large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. 4. Bake 25-30 minutes until internal temp reaches 160-165°F. 5. Place Provolone "Sheets" on each ghost, put back in oven for just 2-3 minutes, don't over-melt! And then, using a toothpick, scrape away cheese for eye and mouth holes. 6. Combine all blood sauce ingredients. Cover bottom of large tray with the sauce and place ghosts on top.
