Spreadsheet Formatting

As human beings we are very visual learners. Our brains are designed to identify and group data based on visual cues like grids, lines, and color. Google Sheets and other spreadsheet software allow you to format and organize the information on your sheet using many of these cues. In this video, you will get introduced to basic visual and number formatting options that are commonly used in spreadsheet software. This video was created in relation to the Utah State CTE standards for the Business Office Specialist High School course. Specifically, this video prepares students to complete Strand 2, Standard 3: Customize formatting and layout options within a workbook/worksheet.
