This squirrel knows to look for me to throw a peanut or two in his direction. I decided to try squirrel fishing. I took a long piece of PVC pipe and inserted a small rake into it to make a pole about 8 1/2 feet long. I cut a 3 foot piece of string, tied a peanut to one end and a metal washer to the other. I took a piece of string about 4 feet long, tied one end to the rake and the end to the middle of the string with the washer and peanut.. A folding lawn chair helped support the pole because the the "bait" has to be finessed to get the squirrel to join in the fun plus the squirrel is pretty heavy once he starts dangling from the string.
