St Augustine FL vlog - Spring 2026
We started our first morning in St. Augustine by exploring the Old Town by foot and with an Hop On Hop Off trolley, including St. George Street, Plaza De La Constitution, Cathedral Basilica Of St Augustine, Aviles Street and more. In the afternoon, we took a guided tour of Flagler College - one of the most beautiful universities in the USA and the world. On our next day, we started our day exploring the Castillo De San Marcos National Monument. We were lucky that they had a canon shooting this morning which demonstrated the entire procedure which the Spanish used to shoot these canons. We later walked the Magnolia Avenue which is famous for its giant Oak Trees and Spanish Moss. After two days in the busy - touristy St. Augustine, it was time to look for some tranquility nearby. We found plenty of it in Washington Oaks State Park, just 15 miles South of St. Augustine. The State Park includes a garden which it is amazing to walk through and shoreline on both the Bay and the Ocean. Walking along the bay shoreline, we got to see Dolphins. On the Oceanside, we walked to an area of Coquina Rocks and also had the chance to put our heads down on our chairs and rest... Our final destination in the area was St. Augustine Lighthouse, with great views of the entire area from top. This isn't our first visit in St. Augustine and hopefully we will be back there one day, once more!
