STAPLED WOUND - HALLOWEEN MAKEUP TUTORIAL - HALLOWEEN WEEK part 4 - how to video about creating a special effects makeup wound or cut on the forehead with bruising, alongside the additional option to add fake staples. Perfect quick and easy to follow tutorial for halloween, trick or treating, greeting, film and photo. When is halloween week? Monday 8th October to Friday 12th October. What is halloween week? The week in October when I post a new halloween makeup video (glam, gore or SFX) every day from monday to friday! Stay tuned for more spooky content. ————— My previous video (SFX CUTS/WOUNDS IN 3 DIFFERENT WAYS OR MEDIUMS): https://youtu.be/yAiTJGeOE9g #Halloween #SFX #HalloweenMakeup ---------- WHAT YOU'LL NEED: - Scar wax - Vaseline - Face powder - Pink eyeshadows - Purple eyeshadows - Yellow eyeshadows - Brown and Black eyeshadows - Lip liner (optional) - Fake blood - Staples (made with bent wire) - Liquid latex/Eyelash glue STEPS: - Roll the scar wax into a long sausage with each end slightly thinner than the centre - Press it firmly onto your forehead to stick it down - Put vaseline on your fingers and begin to smoothen it, moulding it into shape. - Once happy, put vaseline onto the edge of a flat object (such as a nail file or a moulding tool) and use that to create the SFX cut wound. - Spend time on forming the wound - Once happy, set the scar wax with powder. - Begin to add irritation and bruising with a myriad of brown and pink toned eyeshadows or blush. - Add enhanced bruising with browns and purples. - I added some bruising to the side of my face, so that the wound appeared to be more realistic. The aim was to make it look like i had an object hit me in the face and cause the gash on my forehead. - For some extra detail i added a minor cut with the lip liner on my cheekbone. I added some brown eyeshadow to darken the appearance of the scratch and highlighted the sides in a light eyeshadow to make it appear more 3D. - Using a thin brush, I added fake blood to the inside of the SFX cut. - I dotted some around the special effects cut wound and used my finger to transfer it around, creating a blood splatter effect. - I added the staples which were made of bent wire with tweezers to the wound. For security, i added liquid latex onto the ends so that they would be secured in place. Usually the latex will dry relatively clear. You can use eyelash glue as a substitute. - I placed more fake blood on the wound and added it onto the fake staples and around the "entrances"of the staples, as these would create some enhanced irritation and bleeding. - The messier, the better. - Now, you're done! ----------------- I hope you enjoyed the video.
