In this video I demonstrate how to start teaching a crowd control task to your dog. This one is what I call a "block" which is where the dog will position across in front of you to create space (a buffer) when in crowded places. In this video I am still luring Neo into position, but as he is moving in reliably, I have started to add in the verbal cue "block". I use infrastructure in my environment when teaching this to prevent the dog moving in at an angle. Here I am using my coffee table. I will eventually fade this out once the lure has been removed.
