Where engineering projects meet effortless control University of Alberta CMPUT 401 Project - Fall 2025 Team: Richard Wu, Kyle Chang, Adam Paunovic, Daniel Paunovic, Angela Boutin, Sergio De Guzman, Ishaan Meena TA: Akhil Sunil SteadTrack is a web-based project management and time tracking system developed for Steadfast Engineering Ltd., an engineering consulting firm. The system digitizes and centralizes project tracking, time logging, payroll management, and financial analytics that were previously handled manually through spreadsheets. Some features include: Clock in/out functionality with automatic overtime calculation based on Alberta Labour Code, real-time KPI dashboards showing project costs, budget burn tracking, and $/hour metrics, comprehensive financial analytics with profit calculations at project and engineer levels, payroll export to Excel with automatic overtime calculations, and project management tools for tracking approximately 250 projects per year with lead engineer assignments and task management.
