In this video I describe separately, the life cycles of low mass stars and high mass stars. For the high mass stars, I describe the C-N-O cycle for the nuclear reactions in high mass stars, and how that differs from the proton-proton chain in low mass stars. I introduce the instabilities that happen in the core of stars when Hydrogen fusion no longer happens in their cores and how stars evolve off of the main sequence. I discuss how stars populate the cosmos with elements heavier than Hydrogen and Helium.
