Step 2 - LPC Purge Filter Test

Do not proceed with sample testing unless this test has been performed and the SETRA shows 0 particles consistently. Connect the Setra 8000 to a power adaptor and appropriate power source. Plug in the USB Thumb Drive to the Setra 8000 and turn the LPC on by pressing the black power button for two seconds. Unscrew the silver isokinetic probe from the top of the LPC and attach the silver inlet barbed fitting to top of the LPC in its place. Screw the green LPC purge filter onto the inlet barbed fitting on top of the LPC. For your convenience, a touch screen stylus is located beneath the power button. Next, press the green ‘running man’ icon on the screen to begin the test. The SETRA will run consecutive 1 minute tests. Once the test reads 0, remove the green LPC purge filter from the top of the LPC and return to its case. You are now ready to test the tubing.
