Strata
Strata Ingredients 8 large eggs 2 cups milk Approximately 16 slices of bread, crust trimmed off 2 cups shredded cheese or more if you like it extra cheesy. 2 cups diced veggies (optional) I used 1 cup of red bell pepper and 1 cup zucchini Directions Grease a 9x13 inch glass dish Whisk eggs and milk together until completely combined Line the bottom of the pan with a single layer of bread Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese over the top of the bread Sprinkle half the veggies over the bread and cheese Pour a little less than half of the egg mixture over everything Add another layer of bread, cheese and veggies and pour the rest of the egg mixture over everything. Try to cover everything and get all the bread soaked with the egg. Cover the pan and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours. Bake at 350 for about 60 minutes. It's done when the middle has firmed up and no liquid is remaining.
