Recipe 4 cups Flour (plus additional if necessary) 1 1/2 c Lukewarm Water 2 Tablespoons Yeast 1 Tablespoon Sugar 1 Tablespoon Salt 1. Combine water, sugar and salt. Mix well. Allow sugar and salt to dissolve. 2. Place yeast in stand mixer. Add lukewarm water mixture. Allow to sit for 5 minutes until yeast begins to bubble. 3. Add flour a little at a time. Combine until dough is no longer tacky. 4. Cover and allow dough to rise 45 minutes to an hour. Dough will double. Any fillings you want for the inside of the stromboli, such as pepperoni, marinara, cheese, sausage, spinach, onions, olives, sliced tomatoes, peppers, etc. 1. Divide dough in half. 2. Roll into a rectangle. Cover with marinara, pesto, ranch or whatever sauce you would like. 3. Cover with toppings. Roll dough, pinching sides to connect. 4. Place on parchment or silpat mat. Cook at 400 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 200 degrees. 5. Allow to sit 5 minutes before slicing.
