We mentioned that on Friday, the Beaver. XP820 had to undergo a compass swing procedure to check the accuracy and potential deviation of her magnetic compass.
This is how it went.
Landing light? It was switched on and off along with other services throughout the test as Phil was also checking the function of the Ammeter after the crew raised concerns that it wasn't working. It turns out that a lot of the old steam powered avionics and radios are no more, so the load is significantly less than in her service days.
