Here are some concepts on mounting the wing to the fuselage pod using rubber bands.
Getting the proper location of the wing mounting for the Center Of Gravity is very important. At least do not exceed the 8" aft of nose recommendation unless you are an expert. 7" is a stable but efficient location. 6" is actually quite stable and difficult to overcontrol or stall but sacrifices efficiency of flight as greater elevon reflex is required for trim flight.
Other methods of mounting exist but rubber bands and dowels/CF rods/arrows/skewers/chopsticks make an easy, reliable, inexpensive way to hold your wing on.
