TexCare – Soil release under-the-microscope During the washing process, the TexCare molecules attach to the similarly structured synthetic fibers. A thin film forms on the garment, which remains in place even after washing and drying and prevents stains from penetrating deep into the fabric. During the next wash, surfactants easily remove the particles of dirt resting on the film, which increases with every wash. This film repels particulate soils and traps them in the wash water, preventing their redeposition and thus the graying of light-colored garments. Due to the hydrophilic film of TexCare molecules, clothes also feel smoother on the skin since the fabric can absorb sweat better.
