The women were still gorgeous, powerful, stylish, and magnetic, but everything felt so controlled and “mature.” Lots of blazers, muted sensuality, polished armor, and that strange dance of women empowering each other while also tearing each other apart.
It got me thinking a lot about aging, femininity, visibility, and the weird way society treats women once they hit midlife.
