The Wild Geese

Monday Melodies #17 Good morning all. This Monday I wanted to do a cover version of a quite beautiful song that is very local to me. The words were written by the poet Violet Jacob from Montrose and the music by Jim Reid who came from there same wee village as me and was a member of the famous Foundry Band. I think this is quite moving, but I'll let it speak for itself. If anybody needs a translation then ask in the comments below!!
