"The Touch" is one of the very first pieces of music I wrote for the mountain dulcimer. Many years ago I was introduced to the 4-equidistant strings playing setup, and while exploring some of its possibilities, this piece just kinda fell out of the air! It is played here on a custom Tindle Dulcimer made from Hawaiian Koa with a western red cedar top, tuned D-A-D-D (low to high). A tablature arrangement of this music is also available on my website.
