Threads 1 - Really?!? Threads?!?

Are you serious? It's 2024 and you're going to do a video tutorial series on Threads? I thought we were in the "post-thread" era where we didn't have to mess around with low level concepts like Threads. Okay, okay, you've got a point. It's true that with C# constructs like Tasks, Parallel For and the async - await pattern, you can do a lot of amazing parallel programming without interacting with Threads directly. However, I contend there are several good reasons to understand Threads, not the least of which is understanding what all those other cool programming techniques are doing for you under the hood.
