Another sleepless night, the moon’s a distant light, Longing for your touch, to feel you close and tight, Just a whisper in the dark, a chance to say, “I love you more than words, please don’t drift away.” There’s a ticking clock inside me, a heart bruised but brave, Wishing on these stars, can’t we rewind and save? If only you could see the shadows deep in me, Wishing, dreaming, longing, this could not be. The weight I carry feels like an anchor made of stone, Each breath a battle cry, every heartbeat I’m alone.
