This video shows the final prototype of the mobile augmented reality game "TimeWarp" (January 2010).
The game is played by two players equipped with Ultra-Mobile PCs on the banks of the river Rhine in Cologne. The devices enable the players to travel to different time periods of Cologne: Roman Cologne, Medieval Cologne and Future Cologne. There they must interact with a variety of characters that are inspired by the legends of the Heinzelmännchen of Cologne (little elves that used to help the people in the city).
TimeWarp was developed by Fraunhofer FIT (http://fit.fraunhofer.de/cvae) as part of the EU research project IPCity (http://www.ipcity.eu/).
