Discover how the Train-the-Trainer program is revolutionized HVACR education in Southern California! Launched in January 2024, this initiative provided 13 faculty members from 7 local schools with cutting-edge training in market refrigeration and CO2 refrigeration systems. The program wrapped up in August with an immersive two-day field training and knowledge assessment at the CoolSys training center in Fullerton, California. Participants reported significant improvements in their knowledge of CO2 refrigerants and supermarket refrigeration systems. Now, NASRC is collaborating with schools to expand their curriculum to include climate-friendly refrigerants, paving the way for a more sustainable future in HVACR education.
