There are several types of ANN. Among these the feedforward types are the most popular ones. Back propagation algorithm is used to train the feedforward ANN. This lecture covers the basic principles behind the training of feedforward ANN. Further, the syntax, related concepts and approaches of training feedforward ANN in Matlab are discussed.
