Triangular Fibrocartilage is a cartilagenous and ligamenteous structure that divides the distal radioulnar joint from the radiocarpal joint. Its a complex structure and is very important for stability of wrist complex. The components of TFCC inculdes: 1. Triangular fibrocartilage or articular disc or radioulnar disc 2. Volar and dorsal radioulnar ligaments 3. Mensicus homolog 4. Extensor carpi ulnaris tendon 5. Ulnolunate and Ulnotriqueral ligaments The radioulnar disc or Triangular fibrocartilage is discussed in detail along with its struture and relations.
