In this video I demonstrate the method I use to turn a Bishop on a Lathe. Very similar to the pawn with the most difficult part being the crown.
The wood used is Cherry and Walnut.
The wood finish I use on the lathe is O.B. Shine Juice (https://youtu.be/taJbBmcaAZQ?t=94) which is 1/3 Boiled Linseed Oil, 1/3 Denatured Alcohol, and 1/3 clear Shellac.
