I made the Queens from Cherry and Walnut. Here is a compilation of my work on these woods. I stopped using the pedestal screw chuck because I found for the larger pieces the screw would strip out the wood. I figured I could just use the block of wood if I accounted for the length that would be used by the chuck and then drill the weight slot deeper through that section.
Using the Dremel on the crown adjustments, gave me a pleasant depression for the crown.
