Again, with this kick, please be mindful to keep your non-kicking foot (the pivot foot) flat on the floor for balance, stability, and also pay attention to the pivot itself, and keep your bottom foot facing away from your target as you kick. If you do not, your knee may hurt after some time in practice. When you keep your pivot (non-kicking) foot facing away from your target, the sideways pressure on your knee is minimized.
