In this video for our Skill Builder Box yarn club, Elizabeth explains the basics of Stranded Colourwork Knitting, a technique that uses two or more yarn colours in the same row to create patterns or motifs, leaving strands or "floats" of yarn on the back of the work. Elizabeth shows three different methods for handling the yarn: the "pick-up-and-drop" method, the two-handed method, and a method of knitting with only one colour at a time (using slipped stitches).
