[TWISTED] Meg audition
gah I already uploaded this once but it disappeared into cyberspace so I must upload it again. this roleplay looks reallllllly cool, and I saw it and thought of Meg and started throwing ideas around and looking music and all the info for the roleplay and so here is my audition :) Story: So Hades is back and just like before he wants the Fates to tell him everything that will happen so he knows what to plan for, the Fates however tell him they cannot tell him anything about this war, but he persuades them to give him some kind of help and they agree. If Hades can find a suitable person with ties to the Underworld and the Undead, they will agree to let that person take the Eye and tell Hades everything he wants to know. Instantly Hades knows what he will do. He'll go back for Meg. He hates her the most, because if she hadn't betrayed him then Herc wouldn't have beat the Titans thus dethroning Hades. Meg was dead, and she served the god of the Underworld which gave her the loopholes needed to use the Eye, and Hades knew what her weaknesses were and how to play her. So he decided that he would not kill Meg whom he hated, but make her life hell. Meg and Herc had finally found their happy ending, but soon Meg feels that something is wrong. When she is alone, Hades kidnaps her; when she awakens again, Hades shows her that he has posioned Herc back into a full mortal and could easily kill him now. Horrified Meg begs that Herc, who is the best man she's ever known, be spared. Then she and Hades strike up their old deal--Hercules will not die, and Meg's soul and life belong to Hades. He gives her the Eye and forces her to tell him everything she sees so that he can use it in the war. Meg has no choice and becomes heartbroken when she inadvertently causes the death of good people. She's also unable to see Hercules with the Eye because the two of them are so connected to each other, and she is also unable to see her own future. She doesn't know where Herc is, she's being forced to see too much and cause the death of good people, and she once again has lost her freedom. Slowly, she's falling apart and loosing her mind. Something to point out about Meg using the Eye, everything except her own life, and Herc's life, everythingCAN be seen with the Eye, but she has to look for it. She can't just randomly see everything at once, as that would make a person's head explode. Therefore, she tries to limit what she is seeing to look for specific things, mostly as Hades tells her. If she starts to lose control of the Eye, it will flood her mind and hurt her even more thus speeding her possible nearing insanity, and as always, the futre is not set in stone. She can make a vauge prophecy if Hades asks, but if someone involved in what she is seeing changes their minds and dies or something, that would change the future and what Meg had seen would be false. The Eye is not infalliable, and it's even less so with a spiteful, unwilling, and heartbroken Human wielding it. I got the central idea from the Twisted Disney Princess picture for Meg, but I really like the idea that Hades would come back to make her misreable because that's pretty much a given. He would never let her of all people be happy, when she cost him the thing he wanted most. I will point out that if someone wants to take on a Hercules character that my plot doesn't really effect Herc--Meg can't see Herc and Hades could have lied to her when he said Herc had been turned mortal, so really, Herc is up for grabs.
