Two Kingdoms
[Verse 1 — Darkness Revealed] This world is the devil’s kingdom, This world is the devil’s kingdom… A kingdom of darkness within, A kingdom of darkness within… A kingdom of hidden intent, Where truth is buried, unseen. Who rises to power in darkness? Who rises to power in darkness? The one who lies and deceives, The one who lies and deceives… The one who smiles like a friend, While hiding what no one sees. Wearing a mask of agreement, Speaking of “good” and “fair,” Outwardly working with others, But driven by gain laid bare. And those who rise without struggle, And those who rise without cost— What have they traded in secret? What truth have they quietly lost? [Verse 2 — Light That Exposes] The Kingdom of God is of light, The Kingdom of God is of light… A kingdom where nothing is veiled, Where truth is fully revealed. A place where thoughts are uncovered, No shadow left to conceal. Who rises to honor in light? Who rises to honor in light? The one who is honest and clean, The one who walks in the truth… The same in word and in deed, The same in all that they do. No mask to cover their motives, No shadow behind what they say, They labor together for goodness, Not seeking to take, but to give away. And so they walk a hard pathway, Where ease is no longer the guide— They do not rise as the world does, Because they will not divide. [Bridge — The Reversal] The rules that exalt you here… Are not the same rules there. What raises a name in the shadows, May leave it with nothing to bear. The first will be last in the end, And the last will be lifted with care. [Lift — Fire of Truth] Truth like a fire burns through the dark, Truth like a fire burns through the dark… All that is hidden will be revealed, All that is hidden will be revealed. The crowns of men lose their brightness, When weighed by what lies inside— Not all that is honored in public Can stand when there’s nowhere to hide. If every motive were brought to the flame, If every motive were brought to the flame— Would you remain unashamed? Would you remain unashamed? [Final — Confrontation] Ask yourself this, Ask yourself this… How would they truly see you? How would they treat your name? If every hidden intention Was brought into the flame… Not what you built, Not what you gained, But what within you still remained— If nothing could be covered, If nothing could be disguised— Would you still stand with honor? Or fall before their eyes?
