Two Views One Date
Song by Suno and image by Gemini. This is a hobby and not a career, so lets just enjoy it. [male solo] I honestly should have just stayed in. The engine light came on two blocks from her house, and it felt like an omen. [female solo] (He pulled up right on time, looking so adorably nervous that he was actually vibrating and It was the cutest thing I’d ever seen) [male solo] I tried to be a gentleman and open her door, but my sleeve got caught on the handle and I basically performed a clumsy bow into her lap. [female solo] (He leaned in so close the second I got in the car—I thought he was going for a bold, early kiss, but he just ended up checking my door latch. Safety first, I love that.) [male solo] Dinner was a disaster; I ordered the spaghetti because I’m an idiot, and I spent forty minutes trying not to look like a crime scene. [female solo] (He was so focused on every word I said that he barely even touched his food. It’s rare to find a guy who’s actually a good listener.) [male solo] (Then, the "big moment"—I tried to tell that story about my dog, but I tripped over my words and ended up snorting into my water.) [female solo] (He told this hilarious story and got so into it that he made himself laugh. His laugh is infectious; I haven't giggled like that in years.) [male solo] When I dropped her off, the silence in the car was so heavy I could feel my soul leaving my body. [female solo] (The ride home was so peaceful. We didn't even need to fill the air with fake small talk; we were just... comfortable.) [male solo] I gave her a quick, awkward side-hug because I didn't want to overstay my unwelcome, and I pretty much ran back to my car. [female solo] (He gave me this lingering, sweet hug and then literally dashed to his car like a smitten teenager. I’m already picking out my outfit for the second date. Would you like me to write the follow-up text exchange where he tries to "apologize" for the night and she catches him off guard?)
