The plaintiff says she hired the defendant to make tags for her clothing line, was promised they’d be ready in seven days, and it took five weeks. She says she was more than patient with the defendant, but since he refuses to refund her money, she’s taking him to court. The defendant says he actually told her she would have her proofs within seven days. He’s been in business for 28 years, and if she had given him a specific date, he would have had them by that date.
