unit 3
I will give you instructions to replace the plug because the cord has been broken. First, you will use a screwdriver to loosen the screws and open the replacement plug so that you can see the terminal screws inside. Next, you will use wire strippers to cut off the damaged plug. Then, you will take a utility knife and remove about 0.75 inch of insulation from the end of the cord. You will take care not to cut the three wires inside. After that, you will use wire strippers again to remove 0.5 inch of insulation from the end of each wire. You will attach each section of wires to the suitable terminal screw. You will use a screwdriver to tighten the screws. Finally, you will reassemble the replacement plug and tighten the screw that holds the cord.
