Unity Junior Programmer - Unit 1 [Bonus Challenge]
Listed below is an overview of what I added on top of the lessons challenge. I was however, kind of bummed when I finished. I worked hard to make the Bonus Challenge for the tutorial look interesting. Only to find that, as I finished, the submission area for people to display their work on the Unity lessons site, is now gone :( BUT...I learned A LOT doing the bonus features and adding the ideas I had on top of that. It was a lot of fun doing this. - I have the 3 camera views, independent for each player. - I randomized spawning of enemies, time and mesh. - Gave them different speeds and masses. Have end goals for each player to hit. - If a player hits the wrong goal, they respawn at the start. - Hitting the correct goal throws up winning FX. - Framed each players viewports. - Hit FX on frame. Flashes red on fatal/respawn collisions. - If you tip over, you stop, and respawn. - Fall off, respawn. - Enemies are destroyed of they fall off. Stop it they tip over. - And added collision FX on stuff you are not allowed to hit. Warning glow and impact FX. The driving is wonky as I had to drive both vehicles at the same time. But I was trying to demonstrate all that I added. At the end I just went to scene view, cuz I enjoy watching the havoc play out. its like a fun little screensaver :)
