In this video, I walk through the complete analysis, design, and simulation of an Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO) circuit. I explain how a UVLO works, its key building blocks (comparator, reference, resistor network), and how to calculate the turn-on voltage (V_H) and turn-off voltage (V_L). I derive the equations that set the hysteresis window, demonstrate how to design for a specific hysteresis value, and show simulation results verifying the switching thresholds. The video also highlights how excessive voltage drop across the input filter can cause UVLO oscillation if it exceeds the hysteresis band.
