Vacuum Gripper for Windows

Ergonomic Partners designed and built this custom vacuum lifter to grip, lift, pitch, and rotate 185-pound windows. The tool features a steel and aluminum powder-coated frame and uses four anti-marring vacuum cups with air-saving pumps, vacuum indicator gauge, operator control handle, grip/release with interlocking common button controls, momentary lever controls for the dynamic leveling system (C.G. shift), momentary pitch lever controls, manual 180-degree rotation with detent lock, up/down, and E-stop controls. The tool is suspended from an articulating Gorbel Easy Arm jib crane with G-Force Smart Hoist and uses two independent anti-drop safety systems, an interlocking common button, and our gripper safety circuit, preventing operators from releasing the windows in mid-air.
